Students at the MPEI National Research University, St. Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great, and St. Petersburg University of Aerospace Instrumentation participated in the Youth Days. These students are involved in the work going on at the student design bureaus, which were founded by Power Machines.
A number of events were organized for students at the three-day meeting, namely a team competition based on solving engineering and technical problems, meetings with company department heads, and visits to production sites. Throughout the events, measures were taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Youth Days have become an important project for Power Machines, which has carried out large-scale efforts to involve students in the actual work process, familiarize students with the specifics of power engineering, and the nuances of the chosen profession. Future machine builders were able to communicate with specialists, become acquainted with the projects of the gas turbine special design bureau, see the production processes live in the workshops for low-speed turbines of the Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod, at “SMTT. High-Voltage Solutions” Transformer Plant, and at the Electrosila Plant.
